External Insulation
Future Foam's closedcell be used inside but is generally used for the insulation of outside walls as it is a rigid spray polyurethane foam insulation. It has a unique ecological benefit that recycles plastic waste into a rigid spray polyurethane foam.
It can reduce excess waste and energy consumption in buildings by up to 50%.
This helps to efficiently utilise the world's non-renewable resources. It is a duel-component spray-applied rigid polyurethane foam that is green in colour having a nominal density 2 lbs/ft³.This spray-applied polyurethane cellular plastic forms a continuous, monolithic air barrier on the wall. It is more than just an air barrier; it is a one-step wall system including our insulation material, an air barrier and a vapour retarder.
Future Foam polyurethane foams have one of the highest U-values per inch of any insulating material available which helps reduce energy costs while improving building comfort.
The foam adheres directly to the substrate forming a seamless and permanent coverage over and around even the most difficult shapes. It seals cracks and joints, and around protrusions like brick ties, to form a continuous insulating air barrier that remains for the life of the building. Labour costs are reduced since no extra steps are required to caulk or seal openings. Its ease of application makes it the perfect solution for air-sealing work in attics, crawl spaces or other hard to reach areas.
Applications:
| NEW RESIDENTIAL BUILDS: | RESIDENTIAL REMODELLING: |
| Attics | Under Floors / Crawl Space |
| Crawl Spaces | Non-Insulated Walls |
| Walls | Previously Insulated Walls |
| Rim Joists | Basement Stud Walls |
| Truss-Ends | Attics |
| Gables & Dormers |
